Are you buying or selling a home? If you are I am sure you
have lots of questions! Buying or Selling a home or property is one the most complicated
and biggest financial events of your life.

Sellers worry about a listing price,
how to stage their home, if they will get any
offers and which offer to
accept. Buyers get confused on what they really want after viewing
too many homes, how to get financing, how much to offer on a bid and how to get
financing.
Let's face it, when buying or selling a home you need
someone you can trust to help you. You need a person you can confide in that
will give you good advice on how to proceed. Someone to oversee the price negotiations
between the buyers and sellers and to make sure any legally mandated or
agreed-upon inspections, such as termite, water & sewage or home
inspections take place. A person to stay in touch with the lender and make sure
everything is proceeding as planned. You will also want someone to work with the
Title Company in arranging the final closing between the buyer and seller and
making sure all the necessary paperwork is done before the closing so so
the whole thing doesn't crash at the closing table. You need someone who not
only understands Real Estate and your market, but someone willing to put forth
both
the time and effort to make sure your best interests
are being protected.
That's my job and what I specialize in. With over 25 years
of business management and customer service experience I am one of the best
problem solvers around! Long ago I had the good fortune to work with some very
talented people and they taught me a few simple but very important lessons.
Things like "Listen when your customer speaks" , "Always treat everyone
like you would want to be treated yourself " and "Honesty and Integrity
above all else " . Simple ideas, but ideas that unfortunately seem
to get overlooked all to often in the real world.
The best advice about finding the right person to help you
is to make sure it's someone you are comfortable with. By the time you finally
make it to a closing table you will will have spent far more hours than you
thought possible with your agent.
In order to help you, your agent must first know you and
truly understand what your goals are and what you are seeking. To accomplish
this will take time and lots of questions! Many of my good friends today first
began as customers of mine, which isn't really that surprising if you think
about it!
